The current method of funding aged care relies on people having a home to sell. And for many New Zealanders, that's not happening. So you're getting more New Zealanders who don't have a home and more who are going to rely solely on the pension or superannuation. The problem is that if you're looking at those standard rooms that don't require any other extra payment, there hasn't been one built in the last 10 years.
