McKay and the Bus Driver
Kevin McKay has been tasked with driving 22 students about 20 miles away to a school in the town of Chico. Their parents will be able to come get them there. The teacher stares up at McKay suspiciously. Who are you? I thought I knew all the bus drivers. My name's Kevin McKay. I'm new, but I grew up here on the ridge. She introduces herself as Mary Ludwig, a second grade teacher. "I've never seen anything quite like this before," she says.
