A man who was critically ill called his wife and said he needed to get home. He had lost a lot of weight, but she thought it was parasites from the barns. The roads in california were treacherous at the time so her husband took them under extremely dangerous road conditions. When they finally got him to hospital, doctors refused to treat him for more than half an hour before doing something that saved his life.
