The Tension in Uber's Uber Kente Chat
"There's two, there's two stories in the chat in the Uber, Uber Kente chapter. I think there's the story of kind of racial transition in DC generally," he says. "The second story is what you were just saying, which is the problem of hailing while black." In many ways they are displacing black workers and who are taxi drivers, right? And so part of it is just laying out that tension, sitting in it, but also kind of pointing to all the ways in which a kind of broader vision of social justice can be achieved by people like myself or others we've worked with over the past few years".
