Is There a Good Long Termist Approach to Existential Risk?

I think another way of thinking about this point is, so what are we gong to do with all our resources if we don't devote them to existential risk production? Right? It'll be other good things. But i suppose you might think many of the best impacts of those other good things would end up being wasted if we were in a world where existential risk stayed high or went up. So it's like, not really possible tol i reallocate your resources in that world in a way thats can be super impact for long termism. I make no claim that people should stop working on short ways of helping people, or that they should stopworking on other long termis activities
