The film is based on a novel by aby, the guy who wrote the novel that mati helman ziguana, i used to hao. Seldisus was one of the biggest movies in spain made that year. It's not good, but it is done in the style and in the quality. And it seems to exist in that arty, macho, grueling everything is beautiful and also ugly at the same time. The half hour worked a lot better than the first 90 minutes,. You won't take this movie seriously unless you watch it twice.
