Astronomers are taking lots of extra precautions to keep j w s t as cold as possible. It has this five layer sun shield that's about the size of a tennis court. The mechanics of jdelusht an its sun shield, should allow it to maintain a temperature below 50 degrees kelvin. And that will allow it to see things that a hotter telescope can never see.
