Scaling Time Series Data

Scale is obviously an important topic here. Can you describe what difficulties does scale present to the ingestion ses? Let's suppose we have many data sources and they are all high volume. So the total amount of data being ingested is huge. How can you cope with that? Yeswe we have seen some use cases with time strem where we see really massive amounts of data coming in at one time. We do need to support the n data up dates and data deduplication if we are receiving duplicate data points, and then also supporting out of order data, or even old.
