How can we make the experiences of labor and education more broadly accessible for everyone? And that seems to me like a different kind of goal. I think parents all the way up and down the socieconomic ladder feel that, i have this now, but it could be taken away from me. So there i i think the problem is not so much in energines or individuals, its society at large.

Michael speaks with University of Texas (Austin) professor of clinical psychology and Director of the Developmental Behavior Genetics Lab, Kathryn Paige Harden, about her book, The Genetic Lottery. Harden introduces us to the latest genetic science, dismantling dangerous ideas about racial superiority and challenging us to grapple with what equality really means in a world where people are born different.
