I love that even beyond just sort of serving the role of being chauffeur, chauffeur. chauffeur,. he would arrive an hour or two early so that he would be first in line. He really looked at punctuality as respect to the person with whom you're meeting and if you're late, you're wasting their time. And he kind of drilled that into me at an early age and so I'm pretty punctual too. Likewise, my parents were famous in my hometown for being early to parties. My parents showed up once a whole day early and I went to a black tie party. They had to come back the next day.
