William Herbert, Earl of Pembroke, and John Floro
John florio was a renaissance humanist italian translator. Saul frampton theorized that he actually wrote a lover's complaint. At one point in 16 ten, thomas thorpe dedicated a book in edition thomas healey's epictetus to john florio. And thanked florio for securing the backing of william herbert the earl of pembroke for healey's translation of john hall's discovery of a new world.
