We don't seem to manage risk the same way we do on an organization level. Partly it's because we wish away certain risks because they're inconvenient, or they're a different from the things we want to do. I think the same thing is true with people on decisions on their health,. ar wearing a a helmet when they ride a motorcycle. It's fundamentally ridiculous to take that risk, but everybody does a rationalization and doesn't worry about it.
