Leonardo Da Vinci and the Mona Lisa

A lot of these conspiracy theories revolve around the Mona Lisa. One theory is that Leonardo was in love with this woman, but I just don't find a lot of evidence for that. There's tons and tons of self portraits as drawings by Da Vinci - they're very good. Another conspiracy theory is that it is a portrait of Leonardo. It is a self-portrait as a woman. So he decides to paint himself. That one I also do not find terribly, terribly convincing.
