How to Recognize a Prophet?

Jeremiah is preaching hard things, but ultimately for the salvation of the people. So you're exactly right that we shouldn't say, well, gosh, how could anybody have rejected Jeremiah? It wasn't completely cut and dried, anciently, about who was speaking for the Lord. And there's a couple of important tests you can run. Do you feel the spirit? Do what they teach leads you closer to God? Very specific things.
