The Relationship Between Trust and Distrust in Democracy
Alfred Costello has been working on a research project at Cambridge called conspiracy and democracy. One of the strands of work sort of follows directly from that in thinking more about the relationship of trust and distrust. Another thing he's worked on lately is looking at online political discourse, including comments made by people using Facebook as their real name. He says his book opens up "a broad range of questions" for us to think about.
