How to Observe Tornadoes in the Sky
Supercells are these mega thunderstorms that spawn tornado. They rotate, so they're like kind of like these mini hurricanes. How do you take this big rotation in the sky and how does that get concentrated down into a vortex? That process is probably happening on time scales of just a few seconds or less. All this happens so fast. Weather radar, like our number one tool for observing storms, can't see it.
