Are You Really Passionate About Your Passions?
Right now, that the impulse toward more pure democracy is an attack on the american system. We don't have enough deliberation about how social media exasperbates our passions. The reason we need government is because individual citizens aren't angels. And if you agree that we're broken people, but we can aspire to altruistic acts. It's very similar to, i've had this argument now for several years with people who just love populaism. An they thnk it's great, and they think i'm a stuffd shirt for not liking populaist.
