What Is Consciousness?
Rupert: If we were no longer motivated by the need to get rid of the sense of lack, ta this existential sense of lack that lives at the core of ourself. This would have a profound effect on our consumer society. And i hate to generalize, and perhaps this is more of a modern phenomenon, but it seems to be actually a be magnet for egoic pursuit, to a degree, and for power.
