There are three weddings in the show and you don't see really a wedding anytime something else is always more important. The writers use the wedding as a place to like it brings people together who otherwise wouldn't want to be seen in the same room. At connor's wedding logan uses that as an opportunity to change the will thus cutting out his mother from them completely.
