Bonnie: I think that there's really good advantages that can come from looking at things from different perspectives. She says she has learned so much from her daughter on the spectrum who freaks out when a teacher tells her to turn to your neighbor and tell them something he hasn't told anybody else. Bonnie is particularly interested in swing dancing where it's not been choreographed before but you don't know what kind of music will be played. The serendipity of dance also comes into play as people try new moves or ask questions, according to Bonnie.
