The Bank of Japan has been doing this for some time. The outcome is a weaker currency because the market is not able to express itself in terms of higher interest rates. So if I'm hearing you correctly, there is this element of price fixing or price manipulation that is necessary to keep the financial system solvent. That seems like it's going to have a really bad ending.
