Read the mom test, get to know your customers early and ask them questions that will help you solve their problems. Don't be afraid to jump into conversations with people who may not understand what you're trying to do in your new role. Be prepared for a lot of back-and-forth when starting out as a product manager - but don't give up on being able to answer every single question. And if there are any areas where you need to make some changes or add more depth to an idea, then it's probably time to talk about those issues further down the line.
