Introduction

Heather Sarsons is a professor at the University of British Columbia. She's interested in why we still see gender and race inequality in labor markets. A study on referral patterns between physicians, which got her thinking. Other men are kind of unaffected by the actions of one man, whereas other women are affected by what happens to one woman.
