The Roman Empire and the Class Struggle

Before the end of the roman republic, you have marius and sulla. And they obtained power, and they like smash their enemies in very brutal ways. When caesar and augustus come to power, they inaugurate the empire is to basically govern as the leaders of all of Rome. They basically do this so well that this 400 year old conflict is just like it disappears. It's gone and it disappears. The whole system which was supposed to b like, deliberately produced the will of the people, has just ended in this class war.
