Knowledge Isn't Justified Belief
knowledge isn't about beliefs, which is a private going on inside of your mind. We're right to say we know a thing when we have an explanation for it. It need not be true or believed. In fact, my favourite example of this is just a any old scientific theory, which is none the less useful. And my favourte of those is, of course, newton's theory of gravity, or newton's law of gravity, as it's usually called. So there we have a criticism of the j t b, justified true belief, version of knowledge.
