Adopting a Bear

The author spent years building a suit of bare armor to protect himself from bears. He was inspired by the robotic cop in "RoboCop" who could beat up a bear with his metal arm. Now he wants to go on a boat trip and adopt a bear, but there's no way for him to do that.
