Collectivization of Farms - The Ideological Component of the Plan

There was a vague hope collectivization could come about peacefully with peasants persuaded to voluntarily combine their land, tools and live stock. The party also expected the necessity of threats, force and coercion against the group that had prospered the most - the coolocks. Seizing kuloch property would accomplish the economic, political and ideological goals of collectivization in one fell swoop. And as such, they expected resistance to achieve these critical goals.
