The Mystery of Mycoplasma Exacerbation
A provisional diagnosis of acute exacerbation of IOD precipitated by mycoplasma chest infection was made. He was discharged on prednisolone 50 milligram a day and tapped azetromycin. Now his first follow-up was scheduled a week later, and he reported breathing better and the joint pain and swelling had improved. But three weeks later, he walked into the clinic looking a little unwell. A chest x-ray follow-up chest X-ray done revealed new infiltrates. He was then re-admitted. The next aliquat will reveal the diagnosis.
