Tarantino originally viewed this role as like David Carradine and I think being a little bit more of like an older loser. Jack Plack was cut from the movie. He played in Usher in the Kung Fu movie theater. What if Tom Sizemore initially cast as James Gandolfini's character? Wasn't comfortable with the scene that required him to beat up Patricia Arquette. Recommended Gandolfini because they had been in a play together.
