The top line from these studies is that they are safe to administer to kids under the age of five, yes. There was one kid, i think, in the modurna trial, that had a seizure m that was brought on by one of the fevers. But that was out of, you know, some thousand or so kids. They voted to give these shots emergency authorization based on the fact that they look safe.

After a long wait, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have finally approved two COVID vaccines for use in children between the ages of six months and five years old. But despite a unanimous decision amongst regulators, parents still have questions about whether to vaccinate their young children, with survey data suggesting that the majority do not intend to accept vaccines right away.
