ISIS is so splintered. It's not clear how much direct responsibility an ISIS leader even has now when it comes to day-to-day operations. Israel currently relies on aging tankers for mid air refueling, which are not expected to support the long distance flight needed to target Iran. So knowing that and then seeing that they have the US refueling these Israeli F 16s, you know, that's showing something to Iran by doing these drills and then releasing the details publicly.
