Perception of Gendered Division of Household Work in US and China

This chapter discusses a survey conducted with children in the US and China to understand their perception of the gendered division of household work. The caregivers' perception of the division of labor was that moms do most of the household and childcare tasks, but surprisingly, children as young as four matched their parents' reports.
