I think for the last two years, especially vis-a-vis COVID, the overwhelming message was the experts know what they're talking about. That I think fed in very heavily to people's enormous sense of skepticism toward establishment sources. The book started out as a recontextualization of Camus thought I was going to rip off my old buddy Ryan holiday with his many books about the Stoics. And then when I started reading Camus, I've read more into him than is really there. So you wanted to do almost like an existentialist manifesto.
