Graphs - What Do You See?
The Piccologia is a problem that the degree exists in almost all the monitoring systems. The value that you get is the average, but happens to peaks. Most of the problems, especially when you're talking about stuff like latency, you don't see them in the averages. You actually see them on the high percentiles. So, if you're looking for a problem in your database, probably it's a good idea to look at the P99 of latency and not the average.
