How to Generate Sustainable Alpha in Private Equity

I am massively bullish on the prospects for the private equity industry. My hope is that additional investors come into the industry because we've generated our performance for decades. We are trying to generate strong, absolute returns and strong risk adjusted returns across all market environments. It's embracing complexity and creativity to do differentiated deals. No one can fully anticipate the risks, but you can give yourself a cushion so you can withstand those risks.
