The Life of a Young Man

After the rain, his arms felt longer, as well as his toes. Days passed and he grew longe and longer. In a decade, he had grown to over 20 feet tall. His skin was greenish brown and wooden. He had little bulbs tufted along the tips of his fingers and the top of his head, stuck in the earth. It was what he always wanted from his life.
