I think the biggest mistake I made was to not to offer more resources and training to our leaders. We had very passionate and very skilled leaders, but they didn't have any training on things like developing how to develop team members. And also what you do to the team members is that you send them a message that they don't have enough autonomy. They want to do something new, but they don't know how. You just keep telling them all you have to do this, but you don't learn to develop them. It's going to be frustrating for the entire organization, for the leaders and for the people who are being managed by this leader.
