The Inflation of Death in One Day

62 thousand british soldiers died on the first day of world war on. I think that is incredibly powerful, that we are inflated with the power to take life. It's bigger than what we can imagine. But when we see things from a human level, it seems like a catastrophe beyond reckoning. That brings me to something that i wanted to bring up to day, which is this famous passage from the bagavadgita. This is a joseph campbell's description of it, and then he actually quotes the bagavdgita. So i want to just read it, if you'll indulge me.
