In the Canadian healthcare system, you're very well isolated from that up until a point. So out of med school, I actually started working for a healthcare IT company. And startup didn't do that well. The company then in order to survive moved to a model of being a, or like a consulting firm for hospital systems implementation. That was not all that exciting for me. But when an opportunity came to move to Menlo Park to work for CIBC, which at the time was the most prominent Canadian investment bank in the U.S., it seemed really exciting.
