The Importance of Symbolic Imagery in the Bible
Mitch Chase: Does the Bible use figurative and symbolic imagery in the Old Testament? He says if later Scripture is treating an earlier part of the Scriptures as historical, then we should be much more hesitant to say that's just symbolic. Chase: The Bible is not a postmodern book in the way these stories are told. There is a God who has made all things for his glory, he does incredible things the Bible testifies about.
