Capital Market Activity in 2023

M&A and IPO activity were notably more muted this year coming off of the record activity levels we saw in 2021. We do think that financial sponsors are going to start becoming at the margin, a little bit more active at redeploying capital. And we do think corporates are also going to start thinking about how best to capitalize on some of the lower valuations that exist in today's market.
