How to Replace Carbs After a Ride
I don't know why people wouldn't want to eat vegetables and they're delicious. carbs is probably the most important thing when it comes to glycogen restoration. protein is, is, um, is an important nutrient as well. Could there be a benefit of taking in 20 to 40 grams of protein after a ride in the context of your whole day? There could be especially if you're in the middle of a hard training block or you're an older athlete.
