Do you think leaders in western europe failed to heed that warning or just didn't believe the severity of the russian threat? Concerning the security of nato member states, I think we were always secure, and it would also be in the future. Russia is an aggressive, imperialistic country which want to expand the zone of influence on the causts of democratic nations. And it is for all democracies in the world to be to be in line with our own principles.
