Craigslist co-founder Joe Schmitz: "The photos of the listings in New York were trash" In 2009, if you displayed a room on a website, it was probably going to be Craigslist and Craigslist. Image quality was terrible; that's what people thought they could do on our website. He says he took photography classes at RISD but didn't know how to take good pictures. The company saw revenue drop from $200 per week to just $200 after this moment.
