The Idiosyncratic View of Islam

Averuis has what you call the idiosyncratic view of Islam. He says philosophy is in a position to determine the truth about these matters. But it's one thing to say, for example, that no individual person can be picked out as a prophet by the divine. Is this methodology the best kind? I don't want to get into the idea that he does not go to the mosque with his family every day.
