Is There Such a Thing as Incitement to Violence?
I think in that sense our libel laws are probably going to change to some extent as well. I imagine they were created to deal with the power disparity between someone with a huge platform like a national newspaper and an ordinary person who doesn't have that. The idea that somebody can go on a massive platform and just tell absolute lies about you with no repercussions seems a bit odd to me. It might bring physical consequences, very significant physical consequences. But surely this is exactly the same. Why not? Well what's the problem?
