Is There a Distribution Shift?

The real world is changing all the time, and we also often want to deploy systems in different parts of the world or in different situations. This kind of distribution shift comes up all the time in different real world applications. And unfortunately, we don't currently have great tools for actually tackling it. Some of my research is trying to address these challenges by trying to improve the generalization of these systems.
