The Reversal of the Chilean Constitution

New York crime is often viewed through kind of racial lenses or more broadly in terms of hate crimes. Elsewhere there's been a quite stunning reversal in Chile. The country's constitutional process began last year with a left wing assembly proposing a new constitution that would replace the constitution enacted by General Pinochet. Jeff, what's behind this reversal and does it have any significance for us here in the US?
