i was at a local mexican restaurant with my then boy friend, and i was working up the nerve to break up with him. I couldn't just introduce him without adding our relationship. But i also was fully intending on changing that status in the next five to ten minutes. The best way to handle the situation would have been, hey, this is timothy chalonay,. but i'm pretty sure that just hurt his feelings before i performed the final blow of the actual break up.
