In the weeks and months following their deaths, investigators still had to piece together what happened on the night of June 7th. On the same day that Maggie and Paul were killed, Jeannie Szeghinger, who was the chief financial officer at Alex family law firm, confronted him after learning that $792,000 in legal fees were missing. And this means that Alec had pressure from two outside forces that had the potential to reveal years worth of fraud.
